Wet 'n' Wild Singles

In a recent drugstore haul, I picked up these four singles by Wet 'n' Wild. The four shades I picked up (left to right, first photo) are Brule, Nutty, Penny, and Kitten. I got all four shadows for only $4 total because my Fred- Meyers had a sale on all Wet 'n' Wild cosmetics.

Brule is a matte , creamy off-white. This shadow is PERFECT for highlighting the browbone or inner corner. This shade has no fallout and is very smooth!

Nutty is a shimmery, taupe y brown. This is a very multipurpose shadow because it can be used all over the lid, or in the crease. Also, this shade is supposed to be a dupe for MAC's Satin Taupe. Like Brule, this shade doesn't have any fallout and is very smooth.

Penny is a coppery, golden, shimmery shade. This shade is very unique. I don't own any shadows that are even remotely similar! Again, this shade is also smooth and has no fallout.

Kitten is a light, shimmery purple. I really like to use this shade all-over the lid with a matte purple in the crease.

All four shades are incredibly pigmented and very pretty on the eye. They blend very well, and feel very smooth. They stay on all day without creasing or fading! I really love these eyeshadows, and I think they are phenomenal for the price. One shadow is only $1.99. You cannot beat that price! I will definitely repurchase these shadows when I use them up, and I will also go back and purchase the three shades I do not have. The shades I don't have are Sugar (shimmery white), Emerald(deep green) and Lagoon(deep blue). I would definitely recommend these shadows to anyone!

Small Drugstore Haul!

Over the past week, I picked up a few beauty items, so I thought I would share what I got!

Garnier Fructis Curl Construct Mousse

Calgon Nourishing Body Cream "Hawaiian Ginger'

Garnier Fructis Volumizing Anti-Humidity Hairspray

A small Garnier Fructis Anti-Dandruff Shampoo ( came with the mousse for free! )

Wet 'n' Wild Single "Brule"

Wet 'n' Wild Single "Nutty"

Wet 'n' Wild Single "Penny"

Wet 'n' Wild Single "Kitten"

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick "Airy Fairy"

I picked all of these items up at Fred-Meyers. Fred-Meyers was having a sale on Garnier Fructis items, and they had a free coupon for $2 off two Garnier items, so all three of the hair products were only $5 total! What a great deal! Also, Fred-Meyers was having a Buy One, Get One Free deal on Wet 'n' Wild cosmetics, so I got all four  eyeshadows for only $4! I have tried these eyeshadows out a few times this past week, and I am really impressed with the quality! I think I will go back and get a few more, even if the sale is over! Also, I think I will do a review on the Wet 'n' Wild eyeshadows because they are amazing! Comment below if you would like me to do a review on a product, in this haul or not!

Maybelline Quad- Sunlit Bronze

I recently rediscovered this quad in my collection, and was pleasantly surprised at how great these eyeshadows truly are. This quad has been sitting in my collection a while, so it is in the old packaging format. This was one of the first eyeshadow quads I EVER got! This quad contains really beautiful, shimmery colors. The first shade on the top left is a gorgeous orange- bronze color. I love to use this shade all over my lid. The top right shade is a reddish- copper colors. This is really pretty all over the lid or in the crease to warm up a cool-toned look. The bottom left shade is a really pretty light golden color. I really love to put this color just on the inner corner of my eyes to make them pop! You can also use this as a brow bone highlight, but for me, it is a bit to shimmery. The bottom right shade is a taupe y shade that can be used all over the lid or in the crease for a more subtle look.

These shadows are very soft and pigmented. They  stay on all day without creasing or fading when used above a primer. However, all four shades contains shimmer that almost bordering on sparkle. These also can tend to have some fall out. When I am doing my eye makeup, I use matte and shimmery shades. I don't usually like to do a whole look with eyeshadows that are all the same finish. So, I wish they had included some matte shades in this quad! However, I still do love this quad when the shades are used separately, and you can't beat the price!

Maybelline Eyestudio Duo- Bronze Blowout

*Pic is mine!*

I have been absolutely loving this duo lately! I picked it up at Wal-mart not to long ago for $6.99. This duo contains a light golden shade with shimmer, and a deep bronze for the crease. These shadows are mineralized, so you can use them wet or dry. I like to use them wet because it makes them have a very high shine.

These shadows are beautiful! They also do not crease, and they don't fade when there is a primer underneath. However, there can be some fall out if you are not careful. Also, they are very soft and smooth. I really like the colors because I find that they compliment my green eyes well. If you see these at your local drugstore, I would definitely recommend picking one up!

Covergirl Single- Mink

*pics are mine!*

This Covergirl single is a gorgeous shimmery, golden shade. I love to use it as an all- over lid shadow. Depending on your skin tone, this shade could be used as a highlighter. However, I prefer matte highlighters, so I only use this all over the lid!

All Covergirl shadows are silky smooth, but this one seems to be more so than others. It is incredibly pigmented as well. This shadow never creases or fades when used on top of a primer or base. I love the Covergirl singles because you can experiment with different colors and styles for a really low price. If you don't like a particular shade, you're only out $3.49!

ELF Conditioning Lip Balm

I recently ordered a few items off of eyeslipsface.com, and this was one of the things I got. This is the ELF Conditioning Lip balm. The shade is Peaceful Pink. This lip balm is from the studio line, so it is only $3.

The lip balm is super pigmented! It is also very smooth, and it has a great scent. This lip balm is extremely hydrating as well. There aren't enough good things I can say of this lip balm! It is pretty much the best of all worlds! It is exceptionally hydrating like a lip balm, really pigmented like a lip stick, and it has high shine like a lip gloss. The next time I order off of eyeslipsface.com, i will be ordering many more in this shade, and a few other shades as well! I lovee it! <3

MAC mineralized duo "Under Your Spell"

This mineralized eyeshadow duo is from the 2009 MAC Magic, Mirth and Mischief collection. I recently got this in a swap on Makeupalley. I wanted to do this quick review, so if you ever came across this duo on makeupalley or ebay, you would see how great this product is and get it!

This duo is amazing! The colors are extremely pigmented and smooth. Like all MAC shadows, they stay on all day without creasing. They are both shimmery colors. The first color is a light purple/lilac shade. The second color is a beautiful gold with lots of shimmer. You can use mineralized shadows wet or dry. I prefer to use these shades wet, because it gives them very high shine. The purple and gold shades compliment my green eyes, and really makes them pop!

I have been using this duo every single day for the past two weeks! I like to put the light purple all over my lid, then I put a deep, matte purple in the crease. Then, I take an angled liner brush to put the gold underneath my lower lashline. I really love how it looks! I'm definitely going to be very sad when I run out of this duo!

NOTD: Sinful Colors

*pics are mine*

Today's Nail of the Day is the Sinful Colors nail polish in Courtney Orange. This nail polish is an orange color with a really pretty sheen. I think this color is great for spring/summer! In this picture I only used two coats of nail polish because it is really pigmented. Also, this nail polish is only $1.99!

What do you think? Would you wear it? I would! :D

Drugstore Lip Gloss Haul!

I picked up a few lip glosses over this past week, and I have been loving a few of them, so I wanted to share! The lip glosses I picked up were:

Revlon Color Burst Lip gloss "Crystal Lilac"

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip gloss "Coral Reef"

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip gloss "Pink Pursuit"

Jordana Incolor Lip gloss "Cute" ( only available at Walgreens )

Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Lip gloss "Enchanting"

The three that i have been absolutely LOVING are the three Revlon lip glosses! ( no, I'm not sponsored, haha :D ) They are super pigmented, and extremely smooth. They stay on for a really long time, and they have tons of colors available. I feel that they really compare to the MAC lipglasses, but half the price!

Buxom Lips Full Color Lip Gloss

I recently picked up the Buxom Full Color Lip Gloss by Bare Escentuals in the shade Ruby. This lip gloss is a deep, shimmery berry, almost red color. It is very, very pigmented, as you can see by the one swipe in the swatch!

This lip gloss claims to "naturally create a fuller, more voluptuous lip-look " This lip gloss tingles. Alot. In my opinion, too much. I never thought that my lips were sensitive, but the amount of tingling on this lip gloss was uncomfortable, and almost painful. Also, after using this lip gloss for a day or two, my lips became EXTREMELY cracked and dry. I don't know if it was a result of this lip gloss or not, but I do not believe i will be using this lip gloss any longer.

The feel and pigmentation of this gloss is great, and I wish they hadn't made it tingly. Otherwise, I would love this lip gloss! I regret buying this lip gloss, as it was $18.

However, just because this lip gloss didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for you! If lip-plumpers don't bother your lips, I would recommend trying this lip gloss out!
